If any team needed to avoid a bye week in Week 10, it was the Minnesota Vikings. Constantly in the spotlight due to Adrian Peterson and his possible reinstatement, the Vikings had quietly won two straight games and had an outside chance of climbing up the NFC North standings. Now, momentum has been stopped and, instead, filled with controversy. Minnesota simply needs to win games to keep the focus on the football field.
