Week 11 NFL Power Rankings: The Lions Are Now An Elite NFC Contender

Calvin Johnson

18. Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 13)

It seems that every year people refuse to accept that Andy Dalton is good enough to lead an NFL powerhouse. In his first three seasons, he led the Bengals to three winning seasons and an overall record of 29-18. Finally, people started to believe in the Bengals going into 2014. After their pitiful performance on Thursday Night Football — Dalton, himself, was a putrid 10-for-33 for 86 yards and three interceptions — the Bengals have fallen out of America’s graces. Are they talented enough to come back from this embarrassing loss? Of course. But the Bengals left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, and three consecutive road games upcoming does not hint at a bright future.
