Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 4

San Francisco Giants (Vogelsong) at Los Angeles Dodgers (Ryu)

This will be the first start of the year for Ryan Vogelsong, and he has something to prove after a very down 2013 season. This is a tricky proposition because he absolutely diced the Dodgers to a tune of a 1.80 ERA over seven starts from 2011-2012, before getting tagged for an ERA of 8.44 in two starts last year. If he’s on, he could be a great play today. If he’s not (and I don’t think he will), he’s a bad start. I don’t know I’d take too many Giants today.

Hunter Pence (OF) – $7370

All of the Dodgers hitters are at a big discount today (only two hitters over $6000, no hitter over $6200) and that could make for a very nice stack for those looking to do so. You can pretty much go around the horn and find value so pick the ones that best suit your team and move along.

Carl Crawford (OF) – $6093
