Seattle Mariners (Young) at Oakland Athletics (Straily)
If Chris Young were to ever have a good start, it seems at night in Oakland would be a good time to do it. I am not that bold though so I won’t be using him. There isn’t much for batter vs hitter in this one so, and given the ballpark, I’ll probably just stay away from Mariners hitters that aren’t value plays rounding out a lineup.
Justin Smoak (1B) – $4225
Dan Straily is an interesting choice for tonight because he has a great park and is facing a team that doesn’t have a ton of pop. That said, for some reason, Straily has an ERA over a half-run higher at home than on the road. Considering the prices of the Oakland player, and the late start of the game, I will probably just avoid them completely.
Good luck and here’s today’s lineup!
