Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 4

Victor Martinez

Milwaukee Brewers (Estrada) at Boston Red Sox (Peavy)

Marco Estrada gets to show off his repertoire in Fenway Park for the first time since 2011 and there is promise this season for the 30-year-old: he had a good finish to the year last year and looked very strong in Spring Training. Those looking to separate themselves in a GPP might want to take a look at Estrada. Other than him, I might be tempted with some cheap options.

Jonathan Lucroy (C) – $5449

Lyle Overbay (1B) – $4557

I like Boston’s bats quite a bit in this one. Estrada is not a ground ball pitcher per se, and not-ground ball pitchers in Fenway Park tend to get hammered. The better GPP play in this game is to stack some Red Sox as opposed to starting Estrada. I would wait until close to game time before picking the players, but I would go Sox-heavy today.

David Ortiz (DH) – $7161

Dustin Pedroia (2B) – $6367

Grady Sizemore (OF) – $4882

Xander Bogaerts (SS) – $4519
