San Francisco Giants (Hudson) at San Diego Padres (Stults)
Tim Hudson has pitched extremely well so far this year – he hasn’t given up a single walk yet – and going into Petco to face one of the worst offenses in baseball is a great situation for him. I will have Hudson in almost every lineup I have. There are Giants hitters with good sample sizes against Stults that have absolutely mashed him, too. Some DFSers might avoid Petco for a stack, I see it as a good separation opportunity.
Tim Hudson (SP) – $16,891
Pablo Sandoval (3B) – $5187
Hunter Pence (OF) – $7224
Stults might be tempting for some – Petco against the Giants – but I will be avoiding him today: Stults had an ERA of 5.91 and a WHIP of 1.29 in six starts against the Giants last year. There’s no reason to think today will be any different. I will also be avoiding Padres hitters against Hudson.
Good luck and here’s today’s lineup!
