Pittsburgh Pirates (Morton) at Milwaukee Brewers (Lohse)
Doc Morton appears to have gotten shelled in his last outing, but it was pretty much one bad inning and that’s it. He did do very well against the Brewers last year, though this year’s lineup is a little bit more potent. I’ll probably be risking him, though. There are some hitters that have absolutely destroyed Lohse too, in fairly large samples.
Jose Tabata (OF) – $4069
Neil Walker (2B) – $6196
Charlie Morton (SP) – $14,848
I’m not taking Lohse today by virtue that I’m higher on the Pirates hitters than I am on the Brewers’ pitcher. One guy that has owned Morton in the past in a relatively small sample is Ryan Braun, though he is carrying a hefty price tag today.
