Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 20

David Hale

Philadelphia Phillies (Hernandez) at Colorado Rockies (Nicasio)

In over 180 innings pitched over his last three seasons, Hernandez’s HR/FB rate is over 21-percent. That is ridiculous. Going into Coors Field won’t help him today. The Phillies’ bats have really quieted down over the last few days, putting up just three runs in the team’s last four games. I would rather avoid anyone that’s not dirt cheap from their team today.

Cody Asche (3B) – $3547

Nicasio has pitched well this year with nearly a 50-percent ground ball rate and a pretty low walk rate at just four in his three starts so far this year. Avoiding starters at Coors Field is generally advised, and I would do so today just because there are others in his price range (or cheaper) that I’d rather have. There could be some hitters with a big day on Hernandez today, though.

Willin Rosario (C) – $6239

Justin Morneau (1B) – $7595

Nolan Arenado (3B) – $5374
