Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 20

David Hale

Minnesota Twins (Hughes) at Kansas City Royals (Ventura)

Hughes is an interesting name for today because he has a relatively cheap price at just over $12.5K and the Kansas City Royals are arguably one of the worst hitting teams in all of baseball so far this season. I think I’d rather still avoid him for today, though. He has failed to go longer than five innings in any start so far this season and that’s bad for DFS. I will also avoid their hitters today.

Ventura’s price tag still has not risen to an unrealistic high yet, as he’s just over $15.5K himself. He’s obviously in line for a hard regression, but I’ll keep betting against it until I finally see it happen. A couple of the Royals hitters have a good chance of getting their seasons on track today against Phil Hughes.

Yordano Ventura (SP) – $15,525

Alex Gordon (OF) – $5872

Mike Moustakas (3B) – $5128

Billy Butler (DH) – $4249
