Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 20

St. Louis Cardinals (Miller) at Washington Nationals (Strasburg)

Shelby Miller looked very strong in his last outing, striking out seven over six innings and allowing just one earned run. It worries me a lot that he has given up five home runs in 17.1 innings though, especially given how wild he’s been. He’s a solid upside play in GPPs but I would probably avoid him in 50/50s.

Matt Adams (1B) – $5292

Strasburg is the most expensive pitcher of the day, which is kind of odd considering he’s been absolutely hammered so far this year. Some of it is bad luck, but I’d rather not spend 20-percent of my salary on a player in hopes that his bad luck streak will stop today. I’d rather look for hitters not facing Shelby Miller, too.
