It’s been one bumpy ride for the up-and-down Wizards who after losing six in a row starting around the All-Star break have embarked on winning streaks of five and three games. Thing is, those streaks were sandwiched around another four game losing streak, currently dropping Washington out of a top four Eastern Conference seed and with little of hosting a playoff round series. Still, with a lineup that boasts the likes of John Wall, Bradley Beal, Paul Pierce, Nene and Marcin Gortat, the Wiz always have at least a puncher’s chance.
