EASTERN CONFERENCE

  1. Atlanta Hawks (57-19)

The Hawks have been a different team over the first and second halves of the season, going just 14-8 since February and just before the NBA All-Star break. Indeed, such a mark is nothing to sneeze at, but when compared to the 43-11 start they jumped out to, the change of space has certainly been distinguishable. Not helping the Hawks’ cause going forward is the fact they have no “go to player” going forward, a time when more and more of the games figure to hang in the balance. Al Horford, Jeff Teague Paul Millsap and Kyle Korver were all All-Stars this season, but none of them has ever led a team in post season.
