Week 5 NFL Power Rankings

Philip Rivers

10. Chicago Bears (Last week: 8)

This is typical of the Bears — just when you start to get behind them, they pull off a second-hand stinker behind the arm of a bad Jay Cutler.

Cutler and the defense are both going to be a bit unpredictable, with major upside and a low basement. I can see the Bears going toe-to-toe with any team in the league, but also losing to like … the Bills.

What to know: The Packers and Bears went an entire game without either side punting for just the second time in NFL regular-season history. The last time that occurred was in 1992 with the Bills and 49ers.
