Washington Nationals (Zimmermann) at Milwaukee Brewers (Gallardo)
Zimmermann has given up three earned runs in four starts for the month of June, averaging eight innings per start. I don’t like the match-up at all, though, so maybe he’s better suited as a top pitcher for a large tourney. LaRoche is still a good start against most righties and Desmond’s price is nearly to the point where not using him is poor decision-making.
Adam LaRoche (1B) – $6073
Ian Desmond (SS) – $4659
Again, just because I don’t like Zimmermann’s match-up doesn’t mean I particularly like the Brewers bats tonight. Carlos Gomez, though, has also seen his price drop considerably. Other than him, I’m not chasing many bats against Zimmermann.
Carlos Gomez (OF) – $6771
