1996 Kentucky Wildcats

The 1996 Wildcats were loaded. Kentucky had five first-round draft picks on the squad in Walter McCarty, Antoine Walker, Tony Delk, Derek Anderson and Ron Mercer and four other players who went on to play in the NBA.

Kentucky was unbeaten in the SEC and finished the season with a 34-2 record. The Wildcats won their tournament games by an average of 21 points and knocked off Syracuse, 76-67, to win the title.
