The 1972 UCLA Bruins finished the season with a 30-0 record and won its games by an average of over 30 points. Led by Bill Walton, the team was part of UCLA’s record 88-game win streak and boasted a lineup that also featured Keith Wilkes (later Jamaal Wilkes), Greg Lee and All-American guard Henry Bibby.

The Bruins completed their dominant season with an 81-76 victory over Florida State 81-76 in the national title game.
