1992 Duke Blue Devils
Coming off a national title and with just about everyone back, the Blue Devils were the favorites from day one and responded. Duke was ranked number one for the entire season and were led by Christian Laettner, Bobby Hurley and Grant Hill.
Laettner kept the repeat dream alive with his much-replayed game winning shot against Kentucky in the East Regional final and the Blue Devils went on to crush Michigan and it’s Fab Five, 71-51, in the national title game.
