24. Portugal

Portugal passed the ball well, just not enough times. Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t 100 percent fit to play. Pepe got a red card in the first game — no surprise there — and had to miss a game. Injuries piled up in Fabio Coentrao and Hugo Almeida. There just wasn’t much luck for the Portugese in this tournament. Not their year.
