21. Boston Red Sox (39-49) (LW 18) – The defending world champions have just one all-star this year in Jon Lester, though he has been an ace, posting nine wins to go along with a 2.73 ERA and 122 strikeouts.
22. Minnesota Twins (39-48) (LW 19) – The hometown Twins will have two players in the All-Star Game, but neither is fan favorite Joe Mauer. DL aside, he is hitting a career-low .271 this season.
23. Texas Rangers (38-50) (LW 20) – The Rangers are struggling mightily, having lost seven of eight, though they still managed to produce two all-stars in Yu Darvish and Adrian Beltre.
24. New York Mets (39-49) (LW 21) – For the first time in three years, David Wright is not an all-star. Instead, it’s Daniel Murphy who is New York’s representative.
25. Colorado Rockies (37-52) (LW 26) – The Rockies have one of the least surprising and most surprising players in this year’s game. Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is back for his fourth time, while Charlie Blackmon is making his debut. Blackmon started the year batting .389 in April, but has gone .260, .261, and .250 in the three months since.
