Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Update and Lineup – April 30

Chicago Cubs (Jackson) at Cincinnati Reds (Cingrani)

Edwin Jackson has had control issues this year and has already been knocked around once this year by the Reds, so he’s a no-go for me today. Their shortstop has six hits in his four-game hit streak though so I’ll continue to have him in my lineups.

Starlin Castro (SS) – $5083

While Cingrani’s WHIP is a little high, there’s no arguing with how he’s performed so far this year. He’s a good option today but if I’m spending heavy, I’d rather spend the extra thousand or two and go with one of the elite options today. I will try to have Votto in most lineups against Edwin Jackson, though.
