Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Update and Lineup – April 30

Giancarlo Stanton

Toronto Blue Jays (Hutchison) at Kansas City Royals (Ventura)

Hutchison has pitched well this year and gets the team that’s last in baseball in home runs (11) and 12th in the American League in runs (101). He keeps being priced as if he’s going to collapse and I’ll keep taking him at those prices until he collapses. For those going with a high-priced pitcher, Hutchison makes a nice pairing. I’ll stay away from most of their hitters against Ventura, though.

Drew Hutchison (SP) – $11,853

Juan Francisco (3B) – $4674

Yordano Ventura has had one bad outing this year and three very good ones. His price reflects the fact that the Jays have scored fewer than four runs once in their last nine games. I’m not a big fan of starting two pitchers in the same game, but this one might not be a bad time to do it. I’d still rather avoid the Jays bats, though.

Alex Gordon (OF) – $5612
