Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Update and Lineup – April 30

Giancarlo Stanton

Washington Nationals (Zimmermann) at Houston Astros (Oberholtzer)

Zimmermann is the most expensive pitcher on the board today for a reason (see: Astros). That said, they seem to be limiting his pitch count. Zimmermann has cracked 95 pitches just once this year so the upside is truly limited. Even at seven shutout innings, he’s liable to get the yank. I’ll probably just avoid him today for that reason alone.

Danny Espinosa (2B) – $4430

Jayson Werth (OF) – $7116

Brett Oberholtzer and the Astros hitters are just a non-starter today. He’s not pitching well so far this year and they’re not good hitters in a bad match-up. Pass.
