Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Update and Lineup – April 30

Giancarlo Stanton

Seattle Mariners (Elias) at New York Yankees (Phelps)

Roenis Elias had a good start to the year but has been pretty bad in his last two so even in a GPP-longshot scenario I can’t use him tonight at Yankee Stadium. The Mariners do get David Phelps’ first start of the year, though, so they’re a good, cheap stack for GPPs. I would particularly look at their lefties for 50/50s, though.

Kyle Seager (3B) – $6111

Phelps has never been particularly proficient as a starter and he’s not stretched out yet. For those two reasons, even against the Mariners and with his cheap price, I am not taking him today. Their hitters are too expensive to stack today and there’s not a particular player that I’m targeting with the mindset “he has to be in my lineups.”

Alfonso Soriano (OF) – $7206
