San Diego Padres (Erlin) at San Francisco Giants (Hudson)
Robbie Erlin no longer gets the auto-look because of his price and park. He’s been slammed in his last three starts, one of which was against these Giants. The Padres had a modicum of success (eight hits, two runs) when they faced Hudson 11 days ago but that’s not enough to really get excited about this team tonight.
Tim Hudson is pretty much an automatic start at his price today. Where the runs will come from the Giants is another matter. Mike Morse’s price has risen considerably over the last 10 days while Buster Posey and Angel Pagan did all the damage against Erlin when they faced him 10 days ago. I like Hudson but I’ll tread lightly among their hitters.
Tim Hudson (SP) – $16,104
Angel Pagan (OF) – $7507
Good luck and here’s today’s lineup!
