Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Update and Lineup – April 30

Colorado Rockies (Lyles) at Arizona Diamondbacks (Collmenter)

It’s weird to see a pitcher with an ERA under 3.00 have a price tag under $10,000 but here we are with Jordan Lyles. His problem is he doesn’t strike out many batters so even one bad inning where eight hitters get to the plate can destroy his DFS outing. I’d rather spend an extra couple of thousand and go with Hutchison. He’s expensive, but CarGo is a good anchor for lineups today.

Carlos Gonzalez (OF) – $9922

Nolan Arenado (3B) – $7025

Josh Collmenter hasn’t pitched poorly, in fact he’s pitched very well so far this year. I just can’t start him against the Rockies until he does more than has one good start against the Phillies. I do like some lefties against Lyles today, though.
