Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 23

Kansas City Royals (Vargas) at Cleveland Indians (Masterson)

Jason Vargas has been on point pretty much every start so far this year and I’m going to keep riding that soft-tossing lefty arm right until he proves otherwise. He’s got a very reasonable price considering how well he’s pitched, too. I would be looking at lefties in the lineup against Masterson, too.

Jason Vargas (SP) – $14,022

Alex Gordon (OF) – $5584

Mike Moustakas (3B) – $4970

Masterson has a reasonable price but I think he’s more suited to be a GPP pitcher than a 50/50. When he’s off, he gets hammered, but when he’s on, he’s light-out. I will be avoiding most hitters against Vargas, as well.
