Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 23

Zack Greinke

Texas Rangers (Perez) at Oakland Athletics (Gray)

Martin Perez has yet to give up a home run this year and has pitched two straight outings of shutout ball, 17 innings total. Granted, one of those teams was Houston, but still impressive nonetheless. I will probably not risk him over someone like Matt Cain though, who is at about the same price point. I will be avoiding most Texas hitters against Sonny Gray today, too.

Gray is fairly cheap today considering how he’s pitched and without Choo and Beltre in Texas’s lineup, today would be a good day to start him against them. I’m not sure how excited I am about their hitters at their high prices, though.

Sonny Gray (SP) – $17,115

Yoenis Cespedes (OF) – $7975
