Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 23

Zack Greinke

Cincinnati Reds (Simon) at Pittsburgh Pirates (Morton)

Alfredo Simon is among the ERA leaders to start the year and it’s no accident; few walks, good command, and a little luck. Considering how well he’s pitched this year, his price is ridiculously low. I would have him in most lineups today. I would avoid most (not all) Reds hitters today.

Alfredo Simon (SP) – $13,666

Jay Bruce (OF) – $7887

Doc Morton has been so-so this year and while I generally like him, his price in relation to other, much better options, is ridiculous. I would also stay away from most Pirates hitters against Simon today, unless it’s a cheap flier.

Jose Tabata (OF) – $4587
