Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 17

Milwaukee Brewers (Gallardo) at Pittsburgh Pirates (Volquez)

Gallardo has been off to a very good start this year but at his price today – a little over $16K – I think there are better options like Danny Salazar. It could be open season against Edinson Volquez, though, so if I was looking to stack a bunch of hitters, Milwaukee looks like a good bet.

Jean Segura (SS) – $5750

Carlos Gomez (OF) – $8265

I’m of course not starting Volquez so let’s stop things there. One guy who has owned Gallardo in the past is Andrew McCutchen, so I’m going to try to fit him in as many lineups as I can. I wouldn’t go too crazy on the Pirates hitters today beyond him, though.
