Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – April 17

St. Louis Cardinals (Wainwright) at Washington Nationals (Jordan)

I like Wainwright a lot today but I’m not sure if I draft him; there are other pitchers in the $20K range that I would rather have like James Shields or Chris Sale. One guy that is quietly heating up is Allen Craig, as he’s on a five-game hit streak.

Matt Adams (1B) – $6550

Allen Craig (OF) – $5899

Owners looking for a shot-in-the-dark pitcher should want to look at Taylor Jordan. His career ERA at home is just over 3.5 and his price is dirt-cheap. It takes a special brand of DFSer to take a flier on someone like Jordan, but he could make good sense in a GPP. I will avoid most of their hitters against Wainwright, though.
