Seattle Mariners (Ramirez) at Texas Rangers (Scheppers)

Erasmo’s problems are the same that he’s had for a couple years now, and a problem most mediocre pitchers have: Too many home runs. Going to Arlington probably won’t help. The bigger problem is that his price is excessively cheap. I can’t pass up his price. There are some good hitter values against Scheppers as well.

Erasmos Ramirez (SP) – $7650

Brad Miller (SS) – $5823

Kyle Seager (3B) – $4709

I’m not starting Scheppers, even if it is against the Mariners. The Rangers have been very hit-or-miss so far this year so I’ll avoid their high-priced bats until there’s a bit more consistency in their scoring.
