Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 1

Michael Clifford breaks down every matchup to find the best daily fantasy baseball value plays for his DraftStreet lineup for April 1.

New York Yankees at Houston Astros

The Yankees lineup is at its healthiest point all season which means it’s not a bad idea to stack them in GPPs for good starts in the early part of the season. Kelly Johnson, Brian McCann, Brett Gardner are also all good plays as well. I would probably stay away from David Robertson, I’m not sure this one stays close enough for a save.

Kelly Johnson (OF) – $5215

Brian McCann [C] – $6149

Brett Gardner (OF) – $4615

The only person I might be tempted with is Jonathan Villar strictly for the speed factor. He could generate a run by himself. Jason Castro is as good a shot-in-the-dark catcher as any but I wouldn’t use him in 50/50s.

Jason Castro [C] – $3684

Jonathan Villar (SS) – $4786
