Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 1

Adrian Beltre

Colorado Rockies at Miami Marlins

The Rockies rid themselves of Jose Fernandez yesterday and that’s good news around the horn for this team. Charlie Blackmon led off for the team yesterday and makes an interesting cheap option in the outfield. Brett Anderson will be taking the mound for the Rockies, and he’s probably a good option to fade right now. Until I see him pitch well, I’ll assume he won’t.

Charlie Blackmon (OF) – $5758

Marcell Ozuna went deep last night against LHP Jorge De La Rosa and it shouldn’t be much of a surprise; the youngster slugged .500 against lefties last year. One game is not a streak, but his price might make him worth the risk in 50/50s. Again, I’ll probably chase Giancarlo Stanton in lineups, but other than those two guys, the hitters are pretty bad. Nathan Eovaldi is an interesting choice on the mound for GPPs; he’s had decent numbers pitching against Colorado as a member of the Dodgers in the past, and pitching in Miami won’t hurt.

Marcell Ozuna (OF) – $6495

Giancarlo Stanton OF) – $6539

Nathan Eovaldi (SP) – $11,763
