Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 1

Adrian Beltre

Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays

With Jose Reyes leaving the game yesterday with hamstring tightness, it makes this lineup look a lot different. The RBI opportunities are gone for Melky Cabrera and there’s no real catalyst. The Jays only faced Tampa Bay starter Alex Cobb once last year so there’s not a lot to go on here. I’m not sure there are a lot of great plays here today. Drew Hutchison might be a decent shot in the dark but I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Rays looked good yesterday at the plate but I’m not sure if it was them or how bad R.A. Dickey was. Either way, the way the lineup is constructed, I’m not a fan of Desmond Jennings unless he hits at the top of this order. This one probably stays as a close game so for those looking for a closer, Grant Balfour is a decent option today.

Grant Balfour (RP) – $1838
