Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 1

Adrian Beltre

Philadelphia Phillies at Texas Rangers

After a game yesterday that saw 24 total runs, I think it’s safe to say there should be a slowdown.

There are two ways to look at A.J. Burnett as a starter today. Either “even Cliff Lee got lit up by them” or “hopefully Texas hit themselves out of runs for today.” I’m of the mind to avoid starting pitchers in Texas (unless it’s Houston, of course) so I will stay away from him. Chase Utley is always interesting at second base, as he’s still pretty useful when he’s healthy. Ben Revere should have a nice day on the bases because J.P. Arencibia can’t even throw out the garbage.

Chase Utley (2B) – $6170

Ben Revere (OF) – $5227

Texas looked good at the plate but doing it again against A.J Burnett is not something I want to rely on. There aren’t a lot of good third base options today around the league so it’s a stars or scrubs night. Those wanting to pay the price could look at Adrian Beltre as an elite option at third base.

Adrian Beltre (3B) – $7379
