Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 1

Adrian Beltre

San Francisco Giants at Arizona Diamondbacks

These two teams combined for 17 runs yesterday, which I suppose is a bit unexpected seeing as Madison Bumgarner was on the mound for San Francisco.

Brandon Belt had a good start to the year, going 3-for-5 last night with a home run. He’s not even top-10 in terms of salary today and was competent against lefties last year. Also, Angel Pagan is a decent option at the top of the lineup for the Giants. I would probably avoid starter Matt Cain, though: in 18 career starts at Chase Field, Cain has an ERA over 4.00 and a K:BB under 1.75.

Brandon Belt (1B) – $5672

Angel Pagan (OF) – $5848

The Diamondbacks looked pretty good at the plate yesterday but couldn’t quite do enough to win the game. I don’t like Wade Miley in this game at all, but there are a couple of cheaper options I will look at. Players wanting to pay the premium can do just that – he owned Cain last year – but I think the lower-priced players provide the best value.

Chris Owings (SS) – $5875

Gerardo Parra (OF) – $4843
