1976 Indiana Hoosiers

The last team to win the National title with a perfect record, the 1976 Hoosiers were coached by Bob Knight and had a lineup that included Quinn Buckner, Bob Wilkerson, Tom Abernethy, Scott May and Kent Benson. May averaged 24 points per game in ’76 and was the National Player of the Year.

After going through the regular season without a loss, the Hoosiers continued their dominance in the tournament. They won their games by an average of 18 points and routed Michigan, 86-68, for the national title.
