- Cleveland Cavaliers (50-27)
LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and company have hit their stride, posting an Eastern Conference top mark of 17-5 since the All-Star break. As you might expect, four-time league MVP James has been at the helm of it all, averaging 23 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals over his last ten games. But more than any of the numbers, The King has set a standard and tone for his hometown team, taking much of the pressure off Irving (22 points, five assists, three rebounds all season). But all is still not perfect in Cavs’ Nation. Any team that can only top the Bulls by five points in a nationally televised game with playoff implication when Chicago’s point guard duties are handled by Aaron Brooks and E’Twaun Moore still has much work to do.
