5. Los Angeles Dodgers face welcomed decisions.
When players like Matt Kemp are moved during the off-season, yet Andre Eithier is still fighting for a starting spot, a team is officially stacked. The Los Angeles Dodgers, legitimately deep in a bevy of positions, will likely be one of the most interesting teams in the final weeks of Spring Training.
The Dodgers recently reassigned shortstop prospect Corey Seager to the Minor Leagues – a move that was expected – yet still have difficult decisions to make. Alex Guerrero – signed to a four-year contract after leaving Cuba in 2013 – could conceivably slot into second base, third base, outfield, or be the odd man out in a wild game of ‘Musical Chairs’ thanks to Joc Pederson taking over the reigns in center field.
For a franchise with four consecutive winning seasons and back-to-back postseason appearances, the final state of the roster is still in flux.
