Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 6

New York Yankees (Whitley) at Kansas City Royals (Guthrie)

Chase Whitley is dirt cheap today and faces a team that couldn’t swing their way through a cobweb. Like Bedard, a solid third option in lineups today. Solarte is on a nice little streak of his own and has a reasonable price against a bad pitcher. He’ll be my third baseman in a lot of lineups.

Chase Whitley (SP) – $9551

Yangervis Solarte (3B) – $6367

I’m not sure how much longer Kansas City will have any value as hitters. Sure, they don’t strike out. They also don’t hit home runs (last in MLB at 26 as a team) and don’t slug the ball whatsoever (team SLG-percentage one point higher than the Padres). Most of this team is a pass and will be for a while.
