Boston Red Sox (Doubront) at Minnesota Twins (Nolasco)
Felix Doubront makes an interesting name for today. Sure, he’s been pretty bad this year. He also had a decent outing his last time out and gets a bottom-third team against lefties this year. In fact, the Twins against lefty pitching are closer to Houston than Miami. Those wanting an extremely cheap GPP pitcher, I’m tempted.
**UPDATE: Doubront was scratched and Jake Peavy is taking his place. If using Doubront for GPPs, lineups will need to be re-tooled.
Mike Napoli (1B) – $6061
A.J. Pierzynski (C) – $5947
Ricky Nolasco is a non-starter for me. Also, most Minnesota hitters are a no-go as well. As I said, most of their team is not very good against left-handed pitching.
Aaron Hicks (OF) – $4981
