Chicago Cubs (Arrieta) at St. Louis Cardinals (Wainwright)
The Cubs are pretty much a must-avoid today. I’m not putting any faith in Jake Arrieta today and even less faith in their hitters against Adam Wainwright.
Wainwright is the most expensive pitcher on the board today by over two-percent and there’s a good reason for that; he’s fifth in ERA and WHIP in the National League and tied for the league-lead in wins. He wasn’t exceptional against the Cubs last year though and his second-worst start this season was against the Cubs. I’ll pass. I like a couple of the St. Louis hitters against Arrieta, though.
