Daily Fantasy Hockey DFS Value Update – April 1

Tyler Seguin

Winnipeg Jets at Phoenix Coyotes

Winnipeg managed to blow a 4-1 third period lead last night, losing 5-4 in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks. That means only one win in the last five games for the Jets, allowing six power play goals against in those games. On the flipside, the power play has also scored six times in their last five games, so there is still some DFS value on this team. Here’s the bad news: in four games where the team was on the second of a back to back on the road, the Jets have allowed 19 goals against. In other words, whoever starts in net is a definite no-go.

Phoenix has scored just 13 goals in their last six games but have managed to go 3-2-1 in those games. It’s still Thomas Greiss in net but he’s been more than capable of holding down the fort since Mike Smith went down with a lower-body injury. Michael Stone has returned to splitting the power play time with Oliver Ekman-Larsson and that provides him with some good DFS value.

This is one of my favorite stacks tonight. The Jets should likely be feeling a bit demoralized and they have a bad track record of back to back games on the road. The first power play unit is probably a good bet to stack tonight.
