Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 31

Seth Smith

Detroit Tigers (Smyly) at Seattle Mariners (Young)

As a team, the Mariners have a worse SLG% against lefty pitching this year than the Padres. I got burned by Smyly his last start but Robinson Cano hasn’t played in a couple of days (illness) and even if he plays tonight, he won’t be close to 100-percent. Hopefully he brings Smyly’s and not frowns to DFS owners. Other than Miggy, I’m looking at a couple of outfielders for Detroit.

Drew Smyly (SP) – $12,265

Rajai Davis (OF) – $6131

J.D. Martinez (OF) – $4615

Chris Young is a pass against the Tigers for me. Also, there are three Mariners with a wOBA over .320 against LHP this year: Cano (illness), Saunders (for his career he’s been bad against lefties), and Mike Zunino (a catcher with five hits in his last nine games). All told, not a lot to love here today for Seattle.

Mike Zunino (C) – $4835

Good luck and here’s today’s lineup!
