Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 10

Chicago Cubs (Samardzija) at Atlanta Braves (Santana)

Samardzija has been pretty lights-out this year but his decline in strikeouts is a concern. If he goes to Atlanta and can’t strike out their stud hitters, he will run into trouble quickly. I think I’d rather just avoid for tonight. I’m not very keen on the Cubs’ hitters against Ervin Santana.

Anthony Rizzo (1B) – $7508

Santana is the night’s most expensive pitcher and I’m not really willing to pay the price to get him on my rosters. Santana is out-performing everything he’s ever done for his career and that always worries me once we get over a month in to the season. Like Chicago, I do like Atlanta’s first baseman today.
