Neither Josh McCown or Mike Glennon were even serviceable in their stints as the Bucs’ starting quarterback to warrant consideration for 2015. Tampa Bay holds the top overall pick in the upcoming draft, which means either Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota could and should be their Week 1 starter next season.
Lovie Smith has never drafted a quarterback in the first round before, which begs the question if he’ll pass on those two former Heisman Trophy winners and find a veteran in free agency, or perhaps find a quarterback later in the draft.
