This game featured a spectacular quarterback duel between Dallas backup Jason Garrett and Brett Favre. The Packers’ quarterback put on a spectacular show as he threw for 257 yards and four touchdowns, and all of the scoring passes were thrown to Sterling Sharpe. Garrett was not intimidated, as he threw for 311 yards and two touchdowns, while Emmitt Smith ran for 133 yards and two scores of his own. The Cowboys broke open a close game by outscoring the Packers 17-7 in the final quarter.
