Bucs get off the snide
I don’t mean to brag, but somebody picked Tampa Bay to get into the win column by upsetting Pittsburgh this week. OK, give me my moment in the sun.
Mike Glennon showed more promise than free-agent whiff Josh McCown did at any point early in the season, and did so against a quality Dick LeBeau defense, one minus first-round pick Ryan Shazier and last year’s top selection Jarvis Jones.
Tampa scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, including the Glennon touchdown pass to Vincent Jackson in the final moments to earn their first win of the year and the first win of the Lovie Smith era. It looks like the Bucs have found their quarterback.
