Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 13

Adam Jones

San Diego Padres (Cashner) at Cincinnati Reds (Leake)

In three road starts, Cashner has allowed 10 earned runs in 18 innings while he’s allowed just six earned runs in 22.1 innings at home. Until those splits normalize (or maybe they don’t), I’ll avoid him on the road. As always, there is one Padres hitter that deserves a start against almost any righty.

Seth Smith (OF) – $5559

Mike Leake doesn’t make a bad start at home but the 29 strikeouts in 50.1 innings so far this year makes his margin for error much thinner than I’d like for a cash game pitcher. I’m not really excited about Cincinnati hitters against Cashner, though.

Brayan Pena (C) – $4694
