Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 5

New York Mets (Niese) at Miami Marlins (Eovaldi)

Jon Niese is worth his price most days, this is not one of them. Sure, he’s going to a great pitcher’s park. But there are a few key Marlins hitters that have destroyed lefty pitchers this year, namely a man named Giancarlo. Considering who’s pitching for the Marlins, I will be staying away from the Mets today for the most part.

Eovaldi is due to give up some home runs sooner rather than later, but betting on him regressing at home against the team with the second-fewest home runs in the National League is not a good time to make that bet. I’m a little gun-shy in taking many Marlins hitters against Niese today but there are still good options.
